Quick answers

If your job is a bit left of centre, send through a few photos and the suburb and we can usually tell pretty quickly where it fits.

FAQ categories

Start in the lane that matches the job.

Most visitors are trying to confirm whether they need antenna help, home theatre support, commercial AV work, venue support, or the fastest way to request a quote.

Antenna & TV FAQ

Antenna, reception and TV questions.

The usual questions for roof work, TV installs and smaller residential AV jobs.

Do you still do small residential jobs?

Yes. TV mounting, antenna faults, home theatre tidy-ups and extra points are all normal work.

What type of antenna and tin-roof mount do you use?

For most metro tin-roof antenna jobs we use a standard 1.1m tin roof mount that can be fixed to the existing roof battens without adding extra holes, together with an Australian Digital Log Antenna. From experience, that combination gives the best result across most metro areas while keeping the install neat and reliable.

Can I supply my own gear?

Usually yes. If the gear is suitable, we can install it, connect it properly and leave the job tidy.

Home theatre FAQ

Projector, speaker and media-room questions.

For lounge rooms, dedicated media rooms and clients who want a better setup without making the room harder to use.

Do you do home theatre work too?

Yes. Media rooms, projectors, screens, speaker upgrades and tidy home theatre setups are all in scope.

Can you upgrade an existing setup without starting again?

Usually yes. Many home theatre jobs are about improving what is already there instead of replacing the entire room unnecessarily.

Will the system still be easy to use afterwards?

Yes. A better room should still feel straightforward once the job is complete, with practical control and a clear handover.

Commercial FAQ

Offices, classrooms and shared-space questions.

The answers people usually need when the room has to work for staff, clients, teachers or casual users.

Do you handle offices and classrooms too?

Yes. Meeting rooms, projectors, displays, room audio and classroom AV are all in scope.

Can you tidy up an existing room instead of replacing everything?

Usually yes. Many commercial jobs are about improving awkward layouts, poor equipment choices or messy installs rather than doing a full rebuild.

Do you work on rooms that need to be simple for non-technical users?

Yes. The room still needs to feel intuitive for the people using it day to day.

Theatre & venue FAQ

Church, hall and stage-system questions.

For venues where lighting, projection, audio, curtains and rigging all need to make sense together.

What about theatre, lighting and rigging?

Yes. Theatre audio, lighting, rigging, curtains, projection and venue support are all part of the work.

Do you work with churches and halls?

Yes. Churches, school halls and community venues fit naturally into the theatre and venue side of the work.

Can you help when the room has a mix of stage, AV and support needs?

Yes. Those jobs usually work best when the room is assessed as a whole rather than treating each part like a separate issue.

QR Solutions FAQ

QR training, venue documentation and what to send.

Practical answers about how QR-based support works, whether it suits non-theatre rooms, and the fastest way to get a venue package started.

What is QR Solutions?

QR Solutions is a combination of venue servicing, QR code training videos, hosted documentation and ongoing operator support for shared-use rooms. The idea is simple: the help lives on the equipment, not in a drawer.

Is QR Solutions only for theatres?

No — it works in any shared-use room with casual operators: school halls, churches, community centres, meeting rooms or multi-purpose spaces. If the room has gear that needs explaining, QR Solutions makes it easier for the next person to use it safely.

What should I send for a venue or QR Solutions quote?

A short description of the space, the suburb, and a few wide photos of the room. If there are consoles, panels or racks, photos of those help too. We’ll tell you quickly whether it is a single-room package, a venue service plan, or a bigger conversation.

Can QR documentation be updated when the room changes?

Yes — that is built into the system. When gear changes, new staff arrive, or operating notes need updating, the hosted docs can be refreshed without replacing the physical QR codes.

How does QR training work on show day?

Staff scan the QR code on the console or rack, watch a short video and get the right steps for that exact location. If something goes wrong, a second QR on the same unit gives troubleshooting guidance without needing to call anyone.

What is included in a QR Solutions venue package?

Venue packages combine annual servicing, QR-linked training, hosted system docs and troubleshooting support. The exact scope depends on the room size, gear age and how many people operate the system. We can start with one room and build from there.
